1989-90: Urbana-Shellsburg splits; Urbana is absorbed by Center Point (Tri-Rivers Conference), which is renamed Center Point-Urbana. Shellsburg is absorbed by Vinton (WaMaC Conference), which is renamed Vinton-ShellsburgAmana is absorbed by Clear Creek (Eastern Iowa Hawkeye Conference), which is renamed Clear Creek-AmanaSt. John, Independence leaves. Deep River-Millersburg and Walnut Ridge Baptist join. Membership decreases to 5. 
1988-89: Urbana and Shellsburg consolidate to form Urbana-Shellsburg. Membership decreases to 6.
1986-87: Iowa Mennonite joins. Membership increase to 7. League is renamed Iowa Cedar Conference.
1981-82: Deep River-Millersburg leaves. Membership decreases to 6. League is renamed the Cedar Six Conference.
1978-79: Don Bosco and St. John, Independence join from the Eastern Iowa Conference. Membership increases to 7. Conference changes its names to Iowa Cedar Seven Conference.
1972-73: Clear Creek leaves for the Eastern Iowa Hawkeye Conference. Membership decreases to 5.
1969-70: Deep River-Millersburg joins. Garrison is absorbed by Vinton (WaMaC Conference). Membership remains at 6.
1967-68: Benton Community ends its girls-only affiliation with conference, as those teams move to the Ioshek Girl's Conference. Membership remains at 6.
1965-66: Van HorneBlairstown, and Newhall consolidate with KeystoneAtkinsElberonFremont TownshipWatkins to form Benton CommunityThe new school leaves boy's sports, but continues as a member in girl's sports. Amana and Clear Creek join. Membership is 6.
