Membership Changes
2018-19: Griswold leaves for the Corner Conference. Membership decreases to 9.
2013-14: IKM-Manning and Logan-Magnolia join from the Western Valley Activities Conference. Membership increases to 10.
2012-13: A-H-S-T becomes AHSTW. Membership remains at 8.
1993-94: Oakland consolidates with Carson-Macedonia (Corner Conference) to form Riverside. The new school remains in the league. Membership remains at 8.
1991-92: Audubon joins the conference. Membership increases to 8.
1989-90: AvoHa consolidates with Shelby-Tennant (Rolling Hills Conference) to form A-H-S-T. The new school remains in the league. Membership remains at 7.
1988-89: Shelby-Tennant leaves for the Rolling Hills Conference. Membership decreases to 7.
1986-87: Carson-Macedonia leaves for the Rolling Hills Conference. Membership decreases to 8.
1983-84: Iowa Deaf leaves the conference. Membership decreases to 9.
1982-83: Walnut and Elk Horn-Kimballton leave for the Rolling Hills Conference. Membership decrease to 10.
1971-72: The Southwest Iowa Conference (made up of GriswoldMissouri ValleyOakland, and AvoHa) merges with the Tri-County Conference (made up of Carson-MacedoniaShelby-TennantIowa DeafWalnut, Elk Horn-KimballtonTreynorTri-Center, and Underwood) to form the Western Iowa Conference. Original membership is 12.
