2019-20: Clay Central-Everly closes. Membership decreases to 11.
2016-17: Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn and Remsen-Union consolidate to form MMCRU. The new school remains in the conference. Membership decreases to 12.
2015-16: Clay Central-Everly joins after competing as an independent. Membership increases to 13.
2014-15: Harris-Lake Park joins from the Cornbelt Conference. Membership increases to 12.
2013-14: Spalding Catholic closes. Trinity Christian joins, after competing as an independent. Membership remains at 11.
2010-11: Sergeant Bluff-Luton leaves for the Missouri River Conference. Membership decreases to 11.
2009-10: Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn joins from the Siouxland ConferenceRemsen-Union joins from the Western Valley Activities Conference. Membership increases to 12.
1993-94: St. Mary's, Remsen and Spalding Catholic join from the disbanding Big West ConferenceUnity Christian joins. Membership increases to 10.
1990-91: West Sioux joins from the Siouxland ConferencePaullina-Primghar consolidates with Sutherland (Big West Conference) to form South O'Brien. The new school remains in the league. Floyd Valley is absorbed by MOC-Floyd Valley (Siouxland Conference).Membership remains at 7.
1989-90: Paullina-Primghar joins from the Sioux Valley Conference. Membership increases to 7.
1988-89: Marcus becomes Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn. Membership remains at 6.
1981-82: Akron consolidates with Westfield to from Akron-Westfield. Membership remains at 6.
1979-80: AkronHintonMarcus, and Sergeant Bluff-Luton of the Little Sioux ConferenceGehlen Catholic of the Quad County Conference; and Floyd Valley form the War Eagle Conference. Original membership is 6.
