Wm. Harrison gave a lot from his farm for the erection of the church. A
commodious and attractive house of worship was built there. |

to Harry Dagroo and moved to his place about a half mile south
and across the road in Plymouth County.
The church was noted in the
Cherokee County news as early as Mar 15, 1894 when they announced
upcoming Easter services. In 1919,the Grand Meadow H.S. held their
graducation at the church. On Jan 18, 1923,the Cherokee Chief reported
the church, on the previous weekend, held revival meetings, conducted
several conversions, performed 3 baptisms and added about 10 to the
church enrollment. During one of the 1923 quarterlymeetings, officers were elected. |
