Theodore Charles Bethell
12 January 1903 --- 15 July 1962

Ted C. Bethell died early Sunday morning at his home on North Cadwell Ave. following an illness of about a year.

Mr. Bethell became suddenly ill last summer at his cottage at a Minnesota lake and at that time had surgery. Later he was in a Fort Dodge hospital for surgery and care. He and Mrs. Bethell were able to be at their summer home for a short time this year, but for the past few weeks he has been very ill.

Mr. Bethell farmed east of town for many years and has followed the carpenter trade since moving to Eagle Grove.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. E. E. Elkin of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Don Adams of Pine River, Minn., and James Bethell who only recently moved to Fairmont, Minn., also nine grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Stevens of Clarion and Mrs. Clarence Didht of Charles City.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church in charge of Rev. Lyle Lieder. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.
