16 July 1936 --- 10 October 1962

Daryl Keith Claude, 26, teacher at Goose Lake, Iowa, died Oct. 10, following a car accident the preceding day near his home at Charlotte. Funeral services were held Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Methodist church at Charlotte, followed by services at Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church at 1 p.m. with Pastor Kenneth Torvik officiating at both services. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Daryl was born at Woolstock July 16, 1936, to William I and Lydia Hilpipre Claude. He attended Woolstock schools, Eagle Grove Junior College and Buena Vista college. On Dec. 27, 1958, he married Jean Ann Wright of Eagle Grove.

Surviving him are his wife, a one-year-old son, Ty Allen, and his parents, 3 sisters, Mrs. Willis Pruisman, Blairsburg, Mrs. Alvin Lohf of Eagle Grove and Mrs. Robert Sylvester of Sioux City and by one brother, Merlyn of Rochester, N.Y.
