Mrs. Sofi Forsling, 88, 1415 Court street, the mother of District Judge Linus B. Forsling, died Saturday in a hospital here.

She was born September 2, 1858, in Varmland, Sweden, and came here with her husband, Frederick, in 1882. He died here in 1906.

She was a member of Augustana Lutheran church.

Survivors are four sons, Martin of Oto, Samuel and David, both of Sioux City, and Judge Forsling of Anthon; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the Nelson-Berger funeral home. Rev. E. G.' Dahlin will officiate. Burial will be in Floyd cemetery.
