Mrs. Mary Ann Waechter, 81, 2610 S. Cleveland street died Saturday in a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness. She had resided here about 30 years.

She was born May 17, 1865, in Michigan and she resided in Dakota County, Neb., for several years.

Survivors are a son, John, four daughters, Miss Josephine, Mrs. Lena Hurley, Mrs. Margaret Watts and Mrs. Sophie Watts, and a brother, Peter Hensler, all of Sioux City, and two sisters, Mrs. Anthony Braunger, Sioux and Mrs. Margaret Christensen, Tyler, Minn.

The funeral will be held at 10 a. m. Monday in Immaculate Conception Catholic church. Rev. Thomas Malloy will officiate, and interment will be in Calvary cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 o'clock this evening in the Larkin chapel where the body will remain until the time of the services.
