In Hymen’s Court.
Decorah was the Gretna Green of three marriageable couples last week and Rev. G. S. Lackland was the clergyman chosen to tie the knots. On Wednesday evening, the 22d, Wallace A. Fisk and Anna F. Paul took their vows before him. Friday evening Wm. A. McMullen and Mettie E. Groat of Burr Oak were united, and on Saturday evening Charles W. Provost and Lucy Belle Howell of Mason City were the contracting parties in the third wedding.

On Friday evening, Oct. 24, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Smith and Dell McMullen and Miss Meta Groat drove to Decorah where this young couple, Mr. McMullen and Miss Groat, were united in marriage at the M. E. parsonage. These young people are well known and have the good wishes of many friends to take with them on their journey through life.
