Crozier, Ernest W., the son of Ernest F. and Ferma A (Wakefield) Crozier was born on April 8, 1906, at Plano, Iowa. He departed this life on February 22, 1985, at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 14 days. Ernest was united in marriage to Susie Kathryn Roberts on October 12, 1928. To this union 4 children were born. Ernest was a member of the Plano Christian Church until he transferred to the Promise City Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Susie. His children, 2 daughters, Mary A. Jackson of Dickson, Tennessee and K. Louise Wurr of Tipton, Iowa and 2 sons survive Ernest, Dwight L. Crozier of Hawley, Minnesota and Lyle R. Crozier of Liberty, Missouri. Also 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Wilma Stark of Corydon and Vesta Schmell of Numa, Iowa, One brother John Crozier of Garden Grove, Iowa, nieces, nephews, and a host of ther relatives and friends. Services were held on Monday, February 25, 1985, from the Raldolph Funeral Home in Seymour with the Rev. Mark Berbano officiating. Vocalist was Milton Albertson accompanied by Mrs. Iris Merritt. The pallbearers were Leslie Tuttle, Carl Thompson, Dallas Donald, Clarke Thomas, Jay Donald and Floyd Parks. Interment was in the Promise City Cemetery. There was a memorial to the Seymour Civic Center.
