Mrs Martha Thompson died in Pleasant Twp., March 27, 1910 of old age. Aged 84 years, 7 months, born August 7, 1825. Born as Martha Harriet Tunks to Philip and Martha H Tunks, in Clark County, Ohio. She was married to Jonathan Thompson on November 15, 1846. To this union 6 children were born, the 2 oldest daughters preceded their parents in death. The 4 remaining children are James and Israel Thompson and Martha, wife of Eli DeTar, and Philip Thompson. Services and burial at Hayden Chapel Cemetery.
