Married.—At the residence of the bride’s parents, in Milton, Rev. Wm. Patterson officiating, Mr. Julius K. Forman to Miss Lina M. George.
This was a very pleasant affair. The ceremony took place about 9 o’clock and was witnessed by the family and a few invited friends. A bountiful and excellent supper was provided for the guests who enjoyed immensely. The table was as fine a looking one as was ever spread in Milton and was just as good as it looked. A party of colored people on their road to Bloomfield, stopped in front of the house and sang a song or two. The effect was charming, and the company were delighted. On Friday the pair went to Memphis, accompanied by C. D. Baxter Miss Libbie George and Hattie Hagler where they [spent] the day with the groom’s friends and relations. The Herald wishes them happiness, and congratulates them both on the wise choice they made in selecting partners for life.
