Betty Maeder, 81, of Creston passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at the Greater Regional Hospice Home in Creston. Mass of the Ressurrection will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011, 10 a.m. at the St. John's Catholic Church in Greenfield with burial in the Greenfield Cemetery.

The family will greet friends at the St. John's Catholic Church in Greenfield on Sunday, December 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a rosary at 4:30 p.m. at the St. John's Catholic Church in Greenfield. She is survived by her children, Jean (Michael) Black of Ankeny, Iowa, Regina (Kendall) Forney of Thurman, Iowa, Mark (Patty) Maeder of Greenfield, Iowa, Kathleen (Michael) Leahy of Pennington, New Jersey, Roy (Teresa) Maeder of Creston, Iowa and Burton (Kim) Maeder of Orient, Iowa; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Edward (Marilyn) Blazek of Prescott; three sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Johnson of Creston, Veronica Maeder of Fontanelle and Wanda (Wayne) Victor of Prescott; and numerous other relatives and friends.
