Formal Dinner Held Observing Golden Wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. O.S. Brown, 2753 San Francisco Avenue, celabrated their golden wedding anniversary yesterday, entertaining with a formal dinner party at their home, to which only members of the immediate family and a few friends were invited.

The Browns have resided in Long Beach nearly two years, coming here from Shannon City, Iowa. The aged couple, who are now 79 and 70 years old, were married April 3, 1879, in the middle Western city, living there until coming to California. Twelve Children were born to them, eleven of them living, and three of whom are residents of Long Beach. There are twenty-one grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Still enjoying excellent health, Mr. and Mrs. Brown plan to make their home in Long Beach throughout the winter months of their long married life.
