From Story City Herald February 16, 1928 (page 3)

MRS. RANDVIG LARSON

Mrs. Randvig Torkilsdatter (Torbjornsdatter) Tungesvig Larson was born Nov. 3, 1843, at Coon Valley, Wisconsin and died at her home in Story City Jan. 31, 1928, being thus a little over 84 years of age.

As a child she went with her parents to Lisbon, Ill. At that place she lived for some years, and then came to Story City either in 1859 or early in 1860. Here she was married to Lars Rasmussen Larson, who had come to this community in 1856. She lived here ever since. Her husband was postmaster of Story City for 24 years. Mrs. Larson had been a member of the St. Petri congregation for about 68 years. Her husband died in 1904.

Funeral services were held in the St. Petri church, Rev. Scarvie officiating, and the body was laid to rest beside that of her husband in Fairview cemetery. The church was filled with old time friends of the deceased and the floral tributes were very beautiful.

The pall bearers were Albert Larson, J. A. B. Larson, Gerhard Larson, E. L. Ericson, Wier Erickson and Ben Holm.
