Funeral services were held September 7 at the Bethel Christian Reformed church at Sheldon for Tony Hulstein, 71, farmer of Sheldon area who died September 3 of a heart attack.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Wm. B. Miller and burial was made in East Lawn Cemetery at Sheldon.

Mr. Hulstein was born in Sioux Center December 1, 1898. He was married to Evelyn Engen November 26, 1943, at Sioux Falls.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Robert of Valdosta, Ga., and Tony Jr. of Sheldon; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Koch of Paullina, Mrs. Alvin Kats of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Dennis Bosma of Sheldon; two brothers, Neal of Denver and Steve of Hull; six sisters, Mrs. Lane Punt, Mrs. Arie Punt, and Mrs. Hein Vreeman, all of Sioux Center, Mrs. Clarence Borst of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Mrs. Steve Kiel of Artesia, Calif., and Mrs. Jake Granstra of Ocheyedan; and four grandchildren.

Parents: Steven Hulstein & Winnie Van Maauws (from the 1925 Iowa state census)
