Funeral services for Mrs. Otto (Norma) Friederichs, 81, formerly of the New Liberty area, were held at Durant May 24 with the Rev. C. W. Meyer officiating. Burial was in the Maysville cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.

Mrs. Friederichs died at the Wilton Nursing home May 22.

The daughter of Hans and Mary Brandt Jacobsen, she was born in New Liberty June 13, 1902. She was married to Otto Friederichs in Davenport June 22, 1921. She and her husband operated a grocery store in New Liberty for many years.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Gloria Smith, Wilton; 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter. A brother preceded her in death.
