Donnie Kerns, 76, passed away at his home Monday, January 2, 2012.

Donnie was born September 3, 1935 in Nowata, Oklahoma. He married Audree Breeding on April 21, 1956. Donnie worked as a machinist for Dico for 45 years. He was a working man but always found time for his family, especially his grandchildren. Donnie also enjoyed baseball.

Donnie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Audree Kerns; children, Kendall "Scott" (Tricia) Kerns and Stephanie (Dave) Krehbiel; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Allison, Isabelle, Mackenzie, Madison, Nicholas and Jaxon. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2012 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
