Daniel M. Jones, 64, passed away at Lutheran Hospital on Sunday, January 5, 2014. He was born January 31, 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa to Daniel Merril and Clara (Houghton) Jones.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Karen Jones; children, Daniel (Patty) Jones, John (Jessica) Jones, Mallissa (Lewis) Thompson, Chrissy (Casey) Gray, Bonnie Jones, Danielle Jones and Matt Jones; 16 grandchildren; and sister, Sue (Bill) Bauer.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2014 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street with visitation for two hours prior to the funeral, starting at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
