Joleen Beverly Dominguez-Pimentel, 69, of Des Moines, IA passed away peacefully in her sleep on 12/30/2013.

A memorial service will be held at American Legion Post 663, 6805 Douglas Ave Urbandale, IA. Friday, January 10th, 11:00am - 2:00pm. Flowers can be sent to the Dominguez family at 5405 NW 89th St. Johnston, IA, 50131 or taken to the memorial service. However, in lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the House of Mercy in c/o Director Todd Beveridge. 1409 Clark St. Des Moines, IA. 50314-1964.

Joleen was born in Seattle, WA on 8/3/1944. She and her children settled in Des Moines in 1973. She graduated from Des Moines Area Community College. She was a Certified Medical Assistant at Mercy Hospital. She enjoyed visiting with her brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Wilfredo Pimentel; children, Robert (Paula), Daniel (Leticia), Jose (Kay), Michael (Tammy), Frank, Julio Jr., Paul (Ida), Julia, and Scott; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Nick, and her parents Herbert Dockter and Marvel Dunwell.

While Heaven's Angels are rejoicing and Jesus has wrapped her in His loving arms, our hearts are suffering the loss of a great woman who was loved by everyone whose life she touched.
