DEATH OF D. M. BAKER
Farmed in Liberty Township for Many Years

Sioux City Journal: D. M. Baker, 1510 Ross street, a Plymouth county farmer for 10 years, succumbed Wednesday to a complication of diseases. Mr. Baker was 73 years old and had made his home here for the past three years.

Prior to coming to Sioux City, Mr. Baker had resided on the same farm, 13 miles north of Sioux City, for 40 years. The aged Plymouth county resident was born in Ohio, February 18, 1848. Two years later he moved with his parents to Waverly, Iowa, where he resided for the next 18 years. He retired and moved to Sioux City three years ago.

In addition to his widow, Rachael, he is survived by four sons, A.J. Baker and F.E. Baker, of Merrill, Iowa; J.H. Baker, of Sioux City, and P.D. Baker, of Denver, Colo., and five daughters, Mrs. Etta Cook, of Everett, Wash.; Mrs. Linda Burkett, of Akron, Iowa; Mrs. Nellie Biesendorf, of Mexico; Mrs. Florence Zellers, of Akron; and Mrs. Mabel Lindsey, of LeMars, Iowa.
