Alma Doris Freeze, 59, of Rapid City, S.D., died Saturday, June 23 at a Denver, Colo. hospital. Services were held on June 27 at Behrens Mortuary with Rev. B. Lund officiating. Burial was in the Black Hills National Cemetery.

Mrs. Freeze was born December 17, 1919 at Lubberts Fehn, Germany. In 1925 she moved with her family to Worthington, Minn. She was confirmed in the American Lutheran Church at Melvin, April 9, 1933 and graduated from Melvin High School in 1937 and attended Iowa State Teacher's College at Cedar Falls. She taught in rural schools near Melvin.

She was married to Lloyd Harding February 21, 1941 at Melvin, Iowa. They moved to Rapid City in 1946. On December 8, 1965 she was married to David Freeze. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and Women of the Moose.

She is survived by her husband, David, of Rapid City, two daughters, Donna Harding Sands, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Deanna Harding of Rapid City, her father, Dick Buss, of Worthington, Minn., a brother, Herman Buss, of Morton, Wash. and one grandson, Jonathan Sands.
