Graveside services for Claire Morgan Heckman, infant daughter of Bruce and Lisa Heckman, were held April 5, 1997 at the Overman cemetery, Atalissa, with the Rev. Paul Ostrem officiating.

Claire Heckman died April 2 at Muscatine General hospital.

She is survived by her parents of Muscatine; a sister, Cassandra, at home; paternal grandparents, Donald and Laurena Heckman, Atalissa; maternal grandmother, Glenda Visser, Sanborn; 5 uncles, Donald Heckman, Jr.; Kent Heckman, Mark Heckman, Kurt Heckman and Brian Visser; and 2 aunts, Beth Nietzel and Marsha Vaandrager. She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Marvin Visser; and an uncle, Glenn Visser.
