Alta Iola Boland, daughter of Charles and Minnie Miller, was born Jan. 13, 1903 in Harvey, Ia., and died in Albia, Ia., Sunday, Oct. 3, 1954, at the age of 51 years, seven months and 21 days.
She married Edward Boland Dec. 20, 1926.
Mrs. Boland was a public school teacher for the past 30 years.
Survivors are her husband. Two children, Earl Boland and Catherine Morrow, both of Ottumwa; three grandchildren; and a brother, John Miller, Los Angeles, Cal.
Final rites were at First Methodist church in Albia, Oct 6, and burial was in Oak View cemetery.
