Arvit T. Anderson, 45, a former resident of Sloan, died Wednesday at Wasco, Ore., after an operation.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday in the Mission Covenant church near Sloan. Rev. J. L. Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview township cemetery.

The body will arrive in Sloan Sunday night.

Surviving are his widow, Glennie; two sons, Stanley and Leland, both of Wasco; six sisters, Mrs. Edith Bromanber, Mrs. Edna McFarland and Mrs. Goldie Brenden, all of Sloan; Mrs. Ellen Anderson of Wayzata, Minn.; Mrs. Gladys Anderson of Onawa and Mrs. Pearl Lindquist of Chicago; his mother, Mrs. Ida Anderson of Sloan, and two brothers, Clarence of Chicago and Carl of Whiting.

Hilts funeral home of Sloan has charge of arrangements.
