Mrs. Homer McDonald

Onawa, Iowa - Mrs. Homer McDonald, 81, of Onawa, died Tuesday in a hospital at Onawa.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Pearson Funeral Home. The Rev. Everett Epperson will officiate. Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery at Turin.

Mrs. McDonald, the former Etola Willbourn, was born Dec. 2, 1889, at Mountain View, Okla.

She was married Nov. 6, 1907, at Mountain View. They lived there four years, at Soldier one year, at Newcastle, Wyo., five years, and then moved to Smithland. They moved to Castana in 1931. Mr. McDonald died May 1, 1950. She moved to a nursing home 11 years ago.

Mrs. McDonald worked as a housekeeper several years and was a member of the Castana Community Church.

Survivors include two sons, Willbourn of Longmont, Colo., and Laurel of Castana; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
