W. B. WHITING IS DEAD AT 67

Willard B. Whiting, 67, for whose grandfather the town of Whiting, Ia., was named, died Sunday night in his summer cottage at Spicer, Minn. He lived at Whiting, owning an insurance agency there.

The body will be taken to Whiting for services and burial. The McVay funeral home will be in charge.

Mr. Whiting was born August 25, 1874, at Whiting. He was a 33d degree Mason.

Surviving are the widow, Lulu D. of Whiting; three daughters, Mrs. John Schwartz of Sioux City, and Frances and Louise of Washington, D. C.; a son, Norman of Whiting, and five grandchildren.

WILLARD B. WHITING

Funeral services for Willard B. Whiting, 67, of Whiting who died Sunday, will be held at 2 p. m. today at the Whiting Congregational church.

Rev. Royal Montgomery of Grinnell, Ia., moderator of the Congregational church of Whiting, will officiate. Masonic services will be held at the graveside in the Whiting cemetery.
