Rites for Mrs. J. Kruse at Mapleton Today

Mapleton, Ia.- Special: Mrs. John Kruse, sr., 81, a resident here for the last 54 years, died Wednesday at her home following a long illness

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday in St. Mathews Lutheran church. Rev. Darrell Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery, with the Byers funeral home in charge.

Mrs. Kruse was born June 5, 1865, in Germany. She was married to John Kruse, November 24, 1888. She was a member of St. Mathews Lutheran church at Mapleton. Surviving are one son, John, of Mapleton; two daughter Elsie Kruse, Mapleton and Mrs. Ernest Gruenger, Charter Oak, Ia
