Joel Hunt died at his residence in the northeast part of town last Monday morning. This was an event which had been looked for some time, as he has been ill with consumption.

Mr. Hunt was a quiet, industrious citizen, and was well liked among his circle of acquaintances. For several years he has been employed as mail carrier on the several routes leading out of Osage, and at all times and in all places was prompt and reliable.

The PRESS extends its hearty sympathy to the family and friends of the deceased.
