We are pained to record the death of little Dell Messingham, eldest child of Henry and Ella Messingham of this place. She died at the residence of her grandparents in West Union, Iowa, on the morning of the 10th instant, of diphtheria, after an illness of four days, aged 10 years and 1 month.
