Mrs. Charlotte Townsend died March 20th at the residence of her nephew R.T. St. John of Osage, Iowa. Her remains were conveyed to this place the following day and funeral services were held in the M.E. church. Rev. Cassidy delivered an eloquent and impressive sermon.

R.T. St John and his two sisters accompanied her body to Elizabeth, Ill. for interment.
