Joseph Robert Evans, 75, died Tuesday morning, January 4 at his home in Hamilton. He was born in Lucas county and had lived for many years in the Hamilton community. Mrs. Evans died in 1916.
Surviving are seven children, Mrs. Don Stoops, George and Alice Evans, of Knoxville, Mrs Orpha Hall of Des Moines; Mrs. Ollie Agans, Jennie and Frank Evans, Hamilton.
Funeral services were held at the Hamilton Methodist church Friday afternoon, with Rev. Paul Pixler, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Hamilton cemetery – Lovilia Press.
