Miller, Charles Finley – 1861 – 1937

Charles Finley Miller, son of Charles Miller, was born at Fort Wayne, Indiana, on November 19, 1861 and passed away at his home in Knoxville, Iowa, on July 7, 1937.
He was married to Nellie Stoops on March 9, 1883 and to this union, ten children were born, five sons and five daughters, who are Ray of Des Moines; Mrs. Edd Hayes of Knoxville; Everett of Davenport; Park of Knoxville; Bernice Clark of Des Moines; Mrs Charles Glover of Knoxville; Don Miller of Knoxville; Mable Perry of McPherson, Kansas; Forest and Helen Miles of Knoxville.
He leaves two brothers, Aaron and Gabriel; and 33 living grandchildren, 6 deceased grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
His wife preceded him in death March 4, 1934.
Mr. Miller joined the Christian church of Knoxville 35 years ago, being very faithful to his church. He has always been a kind providing father and husband. He was loved by all who knew him and come in contact with him.
He was ready and willing to go when his Master called him.
He leaves to mourn his departure, a host of friends in every walk of life.
Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon conducted by the Tolby Evangelists.
