Mrs. C. F Miller died at her home in Knoxville, Sunday, March 4, aged 67 years, 1 month and 19 days. Death came after an illness of a week with pneumonia.
Nellie Stoops, daughter of William and Mary Stoops was born in Knoxville, January 13, 1867. At the age of 13 years she and her twin sister, Mrs. Della Kennedy, began their Christian life, and in later years the deceased became identified with the Jesus Name Mission Pentecostal church.
The deceased was united in marriage with C. F. Miller on March 9, 1883, and to their union ten children were born all of whom are living and all were with their mother at the tie of her death, except one daughter, who was not able to be present.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband; ten children – Ray Miller and Mrs Bernice Pond, Des Moines; Mrs. Tom Perry Kansas City, Mo.; Everett Miller, Park Miller, Donald Miller, Forrest Miller, Mrs. Ed Hayes, Mrs Charles Glover, Mrs. Henry Miles, Knoxville; twin sister, Mrs. Della Kennedy, Knoxville; thirty-one grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 6, at 2:30 p.m. from the Bybee & Davis funeral home, conducted by Rev. D D. Dainty, assisted by Rev. L. L. Chamness. Interment was in the Graceland Cemetery.
