Florence Argo was born July 12th 1859, at Vermont, Fulton county, Ill, and died at the family residence in Chariton, Iowa, March 20th, 1909 aged 49 years, 8 months and 8 days.

She came to Lucas county in 1874, and was married to S. C. Hahn, Feb. 6th, 1876. To them was born a daughter, Pearl, who with the husband survive her to mourn their loss.

She also has two sisters, Mrs. Eliza Cox of Vermont, Ill., and Mrs. Thomas Johnson of Mount Ayr, Iowa, both of whom were at the funeral services.

Mrs. Hahn had been a member of the Christian church until the family removed to Creston, Iowa. Since the return to Chariton she has been in feeble health. She was a faithful wife and mother. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. E. Wells, pastor of the Christian church at the family residence, on Monday, March 22nd, and interment in the Chariton cemetery
