Mr. F. Marion Beauchamp came to his death Monday at his residence on the Crocker farm north of town. He had been a constant sufferer for many months and his death was the result of a complication of diseases. Mr. Beauchamp did valiant service as color bearer in Co. C. 11th Iowa, during the war. He was aged 42 years and leaves a wife and four children to mourn the loss of husband and father. He was a member of Todd Post No. 116, the comrades took special charge of him during his last illness and conducted his burial which occurred in the southern part of Washington county, Tuesday.
