Died, Miss Lizzie Williams departed from this earth Sept. 8th, 1884, aged 27 years. One of earths noblest and purest of beings has gone to her reward. From the age of seven years Lizzie's life had been one of affliction, first becoming a cripple and remaining so during her life time and in addition to this suffering, sickness and disease had been her sad lot for the past six or seven years. A great deal of her time she was confined to her bed. At one time two years elapsed before she was able to leave her home. From early childhood she had been deprived of the many pleasures which her young heart naturally longed, but during the twenty years of suffering there is not a member of the family that ever heard in their remembrance a murmur or unkind word from her. She lived a humble devoted christian life.
