He went to Camp Dodge April 30th, 1918 but did not remain there but a short time. He landed in France July 1st and was officially reported killed in action on September 17th, the message arriving Monday uoon which confirmed his death. At the time of his death he had reached the age of 28 years, 5 months and 11 days. He had taken advantage of the Government insurance and carried a $10,000 policy in favor of his father. He also has a $1000 policy in the Woodman lodge, making a total of $11,000 insurance. Mr. McKinnon wired to Washington Monday afternoon for further particulars but at the time this time this was written no word had been received. It is presumed that Memorial services will be held in Glenn's honor next Sunday afternoon but plans are not yet fully matured.
