Funeral services for Myrtle L. Juehring, 83, Oxford Junction, were held April 7, 1997 at the United Methodist church in Oxford Junction, with burial in the Mayflower cemetery, Oxford Junction.

Mrs. Juehring died April 3 at her home.

Myrtle Shedeck was born Nov. 11, 1913 in Oxford Junction. She married Arnold "Jim" Juehring in 1937 in Rock Island, Ill. He died in 1992.

Mrs. Juehring was employed as a beautician for many years in Cedar Rapids, Davenport and Lowden.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Eleanor Bright, Oxford Junction; and Ruby Blakely, Davenport; and a brother, Malvern Shedeck, Cedar Rapids.
