Another old settler was called by death Sunday, August Greenberg passed away at his home after an illness of over nine weeks, during which time he took no nourishment. He had been ailing for a couple of years but about nine weeks ago, he had a paralytic stroke from which he did not recover. He leaves to mourn his death four step daughters, Mrs. Mac Stewart, Mrs. William Thorn, Mrs. Bluth, Mrs. Simpson and one step son, John Otsen, and scores of old friends and acquaintances.
The funeral services were held at his home Tuesday afternoon and interment was made in the Mayflower cemetery.
