WYOMING - Funeral service for Louis M. Koch, 53, who died Friday morning in his home in Wyoming, was held Sunday from the Methodist church with Rev. E. G. Steinman in charge.

Deceased was born April 18, 1892, son of the late Fred H. and Mary Holtz Koch. After graduating from Wyoming high school, he attended Cedar Rapids business college and was assistant postmaster of the Wyoming office for four years. He then became associated with his father on the farm adjoining Wyoming, specializing in the raising of purebred Perechon horses and Poland China hogs.

In 1928 he began writing life insurance and to this agency in recent years he added real estate and general insurance.

He was a member of the Methodist church and was affiliated with Keystone Lodge, A.F. and A.M., Wyoming, serving as its worshipful master in 1925.

August 9, 1913, he was married to Jessie Guthrie, Wyoming, who survives, with three sons and one daughter: F. Guthrie Koch, Defiance; Dr. E. Laurence Koch, Plainfield; Paul L. Koch, Washington, D.C., and Mary, Mrs. C. L. Patterson, Gainesville, Ga.; a half-brother, Henry Bramer, Wyoming, and a half-sister, Mrs. L. F. Kukkuck, Preston.
