Anne (Willard) Fredrekson, 62, passed on May 14, 2021 following a long battle with early-onset Alzheimer's disease.

She was born to Adolf and Dorothy Fredrekson on February 23rd, 1959 in Congo-Brazzaville, Africa. She moved to the U.S. as a young child, and grew up in Shellsburg, Iowa.

Anne married and moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa and raised two daughters, Megan and Audrey Grieder. In addition to being a wife and mother, her career outside the home included positions as a retail manager for a local chain of stores, the office manager and bookkeeper for an air freight company, and later, a seasonal summer worker in Alaska. Anne had a wide variety of interests and pastimes that ranged from reading and DIY projects around the house, to traveling, hunting, photography, and scuba and flying lessons.

Survivors include her long-time partner Blaine Fisher; her daughters Megan Lorsch (David) and Audrey Gobeo (Louis); grandchildren Michael, Jeffrey, and Ulysses; sister Mary Fredrekson; and two nephews and a niece. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Anne chose to be cremated. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
