Rachel HOWELL celebrates her 101st birthday today

Rachel HOWELL turns 101 years old today. Her nephew was unsure how she would celebrate this year because of COVID precautions.

Last year, when she was first quarantined at SunnyBrook at Fairfield where she lives, she received more than 70 cards. Someone read them all to her, and she was thrilled. Sunnybrook threw a small party for her to celebrate her 100th birthday.

The family hope to have another card shower for Rachel. Cards may be sent to; Rachel HOWELL, SunnyBrook at Fairfield, 3000 W. Madison Ave., Fairfield, IA 52556.
