Bradley Mark Blanchard, 67, of Marion, IA passed away April 30, 2026 at his home following at battle with cancer.

Brad was born March 3, 1959 to Beryle and Dorothy (Jahnke) Blanchard in Marengo, IA. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School, class of 1977 and attended Iowa State University. Brad retired from a career in sales.

Brad loved the simple joys in life- wrestling, spending time with his family, being at the lake, and those peaceful early mornings on the pontoon. He cherished the moments he could see and talk with friends along the way.

Brad is survived by his mother, Dorothy; siblings, Doug (Colleen) Blanchard, Becky (Bret) McKinney; nieces and nephews, Chad (Kim) Blanchard, Kyle Blanchard, Josh McKinney, Jennifer (Caleb) Paul; great nieces and nephew, Ayla and Nolan Blanchard and Adalynn Paul.

He is preceded in death by his father, Beryle; sister, Lynnette; grandparents, Richard H. and Louise Jahnke, Ed and Helen Blanchard; and uncle, Richard C. Jahnke.

Private family graveside will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine, IA.
