OBITUARY
LOOMIS.
Willis E. Loomis, son of George E. and Elvira C. Loomis, was born near West Salem, Wis., May 22, 1855. Died at the home of his brother at Barronette, Wis., Jan. 5, 1917, at the age of 61 years, 7 months and 13 days. He leaves to mourn his departure, his aged mother, who resides with the only living sister, Mrs. A. L. Halver, at Le Roy, Minn, and his brother Clarence at Barronette. The departed one has{sic} a long sufferer, for more than fifteen years, and the past three years practically helpless. His lingering disease was spinal trouble brought on by an injury received by a team running away with him while he was yet a child. He spent a great deal of his manhood days in the employ of railways, living many years in Albert Lea and Duluth, Minn. He was always a man of good moral character and clean habits. Funeral services were held in the Union church at Barronette, Sunday afternoon, Rev. Gee of Cumberland officiating. Interment was in cemetery north of the village.—Cumberland.(Wis.) Advocate.
