LIME SPRINGS - Eide (Evans), Betty Ann, age 95 of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024.

Betty was born to John Phillips and Myrtle (Cameron) Evans. Betty grew up on the family farm near Lime Springs, Iowa. She attended grade school in a one room schoolhouse, graduated in 1946 from Cresco High School, and the University of Northern Iowa in 1950.
After teaching high school in Iowa, she moved to Minneapolis in 1955 and worked in Pillsbury Home Service for five years. Later she worked for Animal Fair Inc. in the premium markets division for 22 years.
Betty loved classical music, playing the piano, and singing. She also loved nature, animals, and her home in Minnetonka.
She is survived by her beloved family; son Loren (Laurie), daughters Kristin (Brian), and Lisa (Andrew), grandchildren Kiah, Logan, Dylan, Mara, Kendall, great-granddaughter, Stella, very special brother and sister-in-law, John and Phyllis, niece Jackie, nephew John, Evans and Cameron cousins. The date for the celebration of Betty’s life is yet to be determined. Internment will be at the Phillips Cemetery in rural Howard County east of Lime Springs, Iowa.
