Mrs. Joe Fleming and son Lawrence went to LeRoy Wednesday to attend the funeral of Mr. M. Sullivan at LeRoy Wednesday morning.

SULLIVAN.
Died at his home in LeRoy, Minn., Monday, Oct. 30, 1916, Mr. Michael Sullivan.
Michael Sullivan was born in County Kerry Ireland, April 10, 1833. He came to this country at the age of twenty and located in Rome, New York. In 1868, Nov. 22nd, he was united in marriage to Hannah Murphy of that place by Rev. Father Beecham of St. Peters Church. They resided in Rome for six years and in 1876 they moved to Iowa and settled on a farm near Plymouth Rock, where they resided until 1898 when they moved to a farm southeast of Lime Springs, Ia., on which they lived until two years ago, when they came to LeRoy, Minn., to the home where he died. To mourn his loss, he leaves his wife, a sister, and eight children, Mrs. Laurence Fleming of Harmony, Minn., Mrs. John Roche, of Motley, Minn., Pat, of LeRoy, and John, Tim, Julia, Margaret and Kathryn residing at home.
Mr. Sullivan was a loving husband and father, kind and helpful neighbor and friend, and altho ill for many months, disease did not destroy the charm of an indulgent and cheerful disposition. None ever entered his home without a warm welcome nor left it without feeling the warmth of a genuine hospitality so characteristic of his ancestry. His death is sincerely mourned by all who knew him.
The funeral was held at the Catholic Church Wednesday morning, a large concourse of sorrowing friends gathering at the home to follow the remains to the last resting place in St Patrick’s cemetery. His pastor, Rev. A. M. Gmeinder, conducted the services and spoke many words of praise in behalf of the deceased.
Relatives here from a distance to attend the funeral were: Mrs. Sarah Sullivan of Guckeen, Minn.. Mrs. Geo. Guckeen, of Guckeen, Minn., Mrs. John Collins of Blue Earth, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. John Sullivan of Rochester, Minn., and Mr. John Roche of Motley, Minn.
