Mrs. Capt. Thomas passed away very suddenly on Tuesday at the home in Kansas City. The remains will arrive in Cresco today, and short funeral services conducted by Rev. Rutherford, will be held at 8:30 p. m., at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Miller. Chas. Millard, a son of the deceased, and wife arrived Wednesday from Steam Lake, Iowa, to attend the funeral.
