Frank Hess, aged 58 years, a former Cresco resident, passed away on Sept. 21st at Lake City, Minn., after an illness of several months, and the remains were brought to Cresco on Saturday last for interment in New Oregon cemetery. He leaves a wife whom he married in 1913 and a daughter, Mrs. Alta Edwards, of Albert Lea, Minn. His first wife passed away about 17 years ago.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Franklin and that he was born in 1858.
