The Fred Roth home was the scene of a pretty wedding on Tuesday night, Dec. 21st, at 7 p. m., when their daughter Miss Louise Ratz, became the bride of Fred Peters, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Peters.
The bridal couple, attended by Miss Helen Peters a sister of the groom, and Rudolph Ratz, a brother of the bride, made their way down the stairway to the strains of the beautiful wedding march played by Mrs. John Pless, and took their places under a white wedding bell, where they were met by the officiating clergyman, Rev. Pless, who spoke the words which joined the lives of this young couple.
The bride was charming in a gown of white georgette and satin; she wore a veil and carried a boquet of bride’s roses. Her maid was tastefully gowned in pink organdie.
The house was effectively decorated the color scheme of pink and white being carried out.
After congratulations had been spoken, the briday{sic} party, with their guests, were served a delicious supper. Only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties witnessed the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Peters have grown to maturity in this vicinity and are counted among the best of our young people. They are possessed of a large circle of friends who will wish for them the best, and an abundance of prosperity and happiness in their new life.
They expect to make their home on the groom’s father’s farm southeast of town, where they will begin housekeeping in the coming spring.
